Education & Experience: 

 

Jacquelyn is our founder and has been a stylist since 1989. She opened her first Strands Aveda Salon and Spa in East Sacramento in 2005 and has since added three more locations throughout the greater Sacramento area. She has advanced education with Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy and Aveda. Her celebrity stylings include Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, Jacki Weaver and Deborah Norville. She has worked on countless fashion shows and photo shoots and supports many charities. She loves helping guests find their inner beauty while creating a lasting bond.

Jacquelyn is a tireless advocate of the arts, culture and diversity and is extremely passionate about the beauty industry. Appointed by the Governor, she is currently serving as a member of both the California Humanities Board and the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
