A Message From Jacquie, Our Owner
First and foremost, all of us at Strands are hoping that you and your loved ones are keeping well as we navigate these unprecedented and scary times. While we can't provide our typical services to you at this time, please feel free to reach out to us if there is anything you need help with to get through this pandemonium. If we are unable to provide items or services you may need, we will help you locate appropriate resources.
As we remain closed until further notice by the government, we can not schedule appointments until we have some idea when we may open. Upon opening, we will start with the appointments that were scheduled when we closed and work our way through the list, then onto voicemails and emails. We have committed to opening longer hours and will do our best to get you all beautified.
We are not offering home color kits as Aveda color has many different formulas to create your specific color which includes many different color tubes making it very difficult to provide this service. We we wish we could provide this service but Aveda is too complex of a color line.
We are not doing curb side for pick up for products due to the stay at home order but you can support Strands Salon by purchasing online at Aveda.com and select Strands when you check out. We will receive a commission directly from Aveda.
When we do reopen we will have strict guidelines. Our owner, Jacquie Crabtree, is on the Board of Cosmetology and Barbering and has direct influence on the salon and spa guidelines in California. We will require the guest to come wearing a mask that loops over your ears in order to service you. If we are able we will try and get masks for the public but we may not be able to so we ask you to prepare ahead of time. We will also ask you come alone to your appointment and arrive at your scheduled time since we will not have a waiting area.
Strands has followed and performed all of sanitation procedures at each salon with the prescribed disinfectants. All of the service providers have completed thorough training on sanitation. We will be wearing masks and face shields when we reopen. If any team member is not feeling well, we will not have them in the salon. If you are not feeling well, please do not schedule an appointment and if you arrive not feeling well we will reschedule your appointment.
Thank you very much for allowing us to take care of you all these years and we can’t wait to reopen and get back to helping you look and feel good.
Yours in Service,
